Team Campbell Foundation is supporting the EPICC grant for combining genomics and immunotherapy
St. Baldrick’s Foundation shared on LinkedIn: .
“St. Baldrick’s proudly partners with other like-minded non-profits to ensure more money is raised for the best pediatric cancer research. For the past 8 years, Team Campbell Foundation has fulfilled one of Campbell’s final wishes and funded research with St. Baldrick’s. Prior to her passing, she would often accompany her dad to head-shaving events and loved watching him shave. The foundation’s pillars of funding and family support are tied to all things that Campbell championed.
On May 9, on what would have been Campbell’s 18th birthday, Team Campbell Foundation held their annual Cocktails for a Cure gala. Greg and Robin Hoyt, Campbell’s parents, hoped this night would give them ‘One Million Reasons to Celebrate’, and that is exactly what happened! Team Campbell Foundation supporters came together and helped the Foundation surpass $1M raised.
In addition to their partnership with St. Baldrick’s, Team Campbell Foundation provides support to families battling pediatric cancer, sends bereaved parents on a trip to reconnect with each other, helps fund equipment for hospitals such as MRI goggles to help pediatric patients have a better experience when they need scans, provides meals, books, and blankets to patients, and so much more.
This year, Team Campbell Foundation is supporting the EPICC grant, one of the largest and most groundbreaking research efforts, combining genomics and immunotherapy to find effective cancer therapies that are less toxic. We look forward to many more years of fueling Campbell’s legacy to invest in the best childhood cancer research! ”
