Françoise Meunier: Webinar Series during the European Week Against Cancer

Françoise Meunier shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Thank you Cancer Patient Europe for inviting me to the Webinar Series during the European Week Against Cancer.

Together with Ania Buchacz and Dr. Philippe Jean Bousquet, I had the opportunity to discuss the crucial importance of the Right to be Forgotten for cancer survivors. It is essential that cancer survivors are able to move past their disease after being told they are cured by medical professionals. This can only be done if we can ensure they won’t be discriminated against based on their medical history.

This is why we need a harmonised legal framework at EU level that reflects the significant medical progress made in oncology, and protects cancer survivors from financial discrimination.

If you would like to watch the webinar, you can find it at this link.”
