Tracey O’Brien: It’s sometimes hard to talk about, but men’s health shouldn’t be taboo.
Tracey O’Brien, the Chief Cancer Officer and CEO of the Cancer Institute New South Wales, recently shared on LinkedIn:
“It’s sometimes hard to talk about, but men’s health shouldn’t be taboo.
As countless families gather today to celebrate the incredible fathers in their lives, two dads selflessly share their personal cancer stories, imploring the men in our community to stay on top of their health and reach out for help when they need it.
As we kick off Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and mark Father’s Day, let’s not forget what’s most important – keeping the fathers in our lives safe and healthy.
A huge thanks to Alberto and Carlos for advocating for the men of NSW and reminding us all that it’s OK to talk about your health. I encourage everyone to read their stories.”
