We are still catching our breath from ASCO24 – Realyze Intelligence

” What. An. ASCO24. It’s been a week and we are still catching our breath.
We soaked in the electric atmosphere of 40,000+ clinicians, patient advocates, researchers and industry partners all united for one cause: to move the needle towards better care for cancer patients.
Our highlight reel:
A lovely CancerX Moonshot reception Friday evening where we heard from Stephen Konya, Jennifer Goldsack and partners at The White House – calling upon all of us to harness the power of digital innovation to reduce the burden of cancer for all people. An invigorating kick-off for ASCO weekend!
A jam packed Saturday of meetings – discussing our platform with current and potential partners. It was especially great to connect with our collaborators at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with whom we have recent and upcoming publications.
A warm Atrium Health Advocate Health reception on Saturday evening where Dr. Ruben Mesa and his illustrious team extended their southern hospitality to the windy city.
No rest for the weary – Sunday we had another round of meetings, visited the debut booth of AI in Precision Oncology and continued into the evening at the City of Hope reception where we met Lee Jones, an incredible patient advocate and survivor. Lee shared his passion for ensuring patients are represented at every stage of the oncology research process.
On Monday we continued the patient-centric momentum in a fantastic discussion with Eugene Manley of STEMM and Cancer Health Equity who is doing the hard work to help champion the voices of disadvantaged cancer patients. We discussed how pre-screening all cancer patients for clinical trials can help ensure equitable access to research as care.
On a more playful note, we handed out tons of No More Zombie Trials pins throughout the conference and even made a matching cookie at the Bristol Myers Squibb booth! (missed the swag?! ask us for one next time you see us!)
We left ASCO24 with a milelong to-do list, dually exhausted and invigorated.
We’re already planning for ASCO25 and can’t wait to see how plans laid during the meeting change the future of oncology for the better.”
