Shelley Rushton: We are preparing for the 2023 Local Health District Chief Executive Officer annual RBCO meetings
Shelley Rushton, the Director of Cancer Services and Information at Cancer Institute New South Wales, shared on LinkedIn:
“Reporting for Better Cancer Outcomes (RBCO) now in its 13th year is the Cancer Institute New South Wales embedded Quality Improvement program that is supporting change, improving patient experience and providing insights that can be used to target activities to improve how care is delivered in NSW.
We are preparing for the 2023 Local Health District Chief Executive Officer annual RBCO meetings where our Chief Cancer Officer Professor Tracey O’Brien along with our team Dr Ru Karen Kwedza, Sarah McGill, Maria Mury where we will share and discuss insights about the cancer care delivered across New South Wales. This program would not be possible if it wasn’t for the many clinical experts who work with us throughout the year as members of our time limited Clinical Advisory Groups. Through this process we collectively understand both the data and the context within each LHD so that we can provide actionable insights to improve the delivery of cancer care, the experience of patients and ultimately work together to improve patient outcomes. LHDs we are looking forward to continuing to work with your teams throughout the year and to meeting with your Chief Executive Officers over the next few months.”
