“Three-year-old Yasin is a very social kid who loves making friends, sharing his toys, and laughing with other kids. He enjoys singing, dancing, and playing with water. Bath time is his favorite time of the day. Above all, he adores his dog and best buddy, Bear.
Diagnosed with retinoblastoma at 22 months, Yasin has completed six rounds of chemotherapy, five intravitreal chemotherapy injections (where chemotherapy is injected into the vitreous, jelly-like substance in the eye), and radiation to kill the tumor.
His mom, Nur, shared, “Yasin is a tough, smart, and happy kid who is always smiling! He has been a trooper throughout this whole process. From the weekly checkups to the weekend chemo sessions, to his monthly examination surgeries, we are in awe Yasin’s resilience.”
