Jun Gong: Dr. Martijn Meijerink’s Phase III COLLISION trial less than 10 colorectal liver metastases

Jun Gong, Medical oncologist and researcher in gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers at Cedars-Sinai, shared a post on X:

“Dr. Meijerink Phase III COLLISION trial less than 10 colorectal liver metastases (CRLMs) 1:1 resection versus ablation showed similar overall survival (OS), not different in local and distant recurrence.

Both arms got 20-23% chemotherapy, mean tumor size < 20 mm, low tumor burden.”
