Gloria Chinyere Okwu: Project PINK BLUE is excited to be a member of City Executive Committee of the City Cancer Challenge
Gloria Chinyere Okwu, Program Coordinator/Head of Programs at , shared on LinkedIn:
“Project PINK BLUE is excited to be a member of the newly inaugurated City Executive Committee (CEC) of the City Cancer Challenge
The CEC is a conglomeration of critical stakeholders in the cancer space whose instrumental role will support the implementation and sustainability of the CCAN program in Abuja. Project PINK BLUE supported efforts to include Abuja in the City Cancer Challenge program and we are excited at the prospects it holds. As a patient I’m particularly delighted that a needs assessment program will precede project implementation. This promises a well detailed intervention that will impact the cancer space in many positive ways. I am convinced that this is not business as usual and I’m grateful to be representing my organization on the committee.
The CEC will guide/lead the needs assessment program for Abuja, validate findings and programs, propel data collation processes and work to sustain all efforts embarked on by CCAN.
Special thanks to CCAN, the visionary CEO, Isabel Mestres, the energetic Sophie Bussmann-Kemdjo, the pragmatic Chris Chukwunyere and the responsive Mandate Secretary Dr. Dolapo Fasawe.”
