“HBS Executive Vice Chairman and COO Gregg Hartley joined his oncologist Dr. Marina Baretti on Capitol Hill to encourage Congress to invest more federal dollars into research for advancing treatment of deadly forms of cholangiocarcinoma. This is a personal journey for Gregg as he was diagnosed with intrahepatic bile duct cancer in 2022 and, despite a poor prognosis, with the help of a superb medical team at Johns Hopkins Medicine is currently cancer free.
Gregg shared with Members of Congress, ‘There needs to be more dedicated federal funding for NIH to research to explore novel and emerging treatment strategies in this lethal disease.'”
