Humaid Al-Shamsi, Director of the Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We were honored to receive His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Mansoor AlMansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Her Excellency Dr. Noura AlGhaithi , Undersecretary of Department of Health – Abu Dhabi at the Burjeel Medical City pavilion during the Abu Dhabi global Healthcare Week, which was held last week. Myself and Dr. Aysha Al Mehri, Deputy CEO of Burjeel Medical City, briefed His Highness on Burjeel Holdings’ achievements, particularly in advancing cancer care in the UAE by building the largest cancer care network across the UAE. His Highness appreciated these efforts in advancing healthcare by Emirati leaders in oncology, wishing us continued success. We also acknowledged and appreciated the ongoing efforts of the Department of Health in developing the health sector in the emirate.”
