The event featured updates on the RB Fight India initiative from Ms. Poonam Bagai and announcement of a new partnership between Cankids and All India Ophthalmological Society. Discussions included improving global outcomes for Retinoblastoma by Dr. Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, current retinoblastoma management status by Dr. Guillermo Chantada, and the Indian perspective on Retinoblastoma by Dr. Dr. Santosh G. Honavar, MD, FACS, FRCOphth. The session concluded with a participant discussion, making it a key part of Retinoblastoma Awareness Week. Thank you to everyone who joined!”

Guillermo L. Chantada is the Scientific Director of the Fundacion Perez Scremini in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the Hospital Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Additionally, he holds the position of an associated physician at the Servicio de Oncología at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona. His main research interests are in neuroblastoma, retinoblastoma, and pediatric lymphomas.
