Wei Zhang: Blast from the past

Wei Zhang, Director of Center for Cancer Genomics and Precision Oncology at Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“This is a blast from the past. Thomas Tsai and Rishi Jajoo spent their summer time in my lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center back in 2000. They were both in high school. Both went on to Harvard. Thomas won the First Prize at the Texas State Science Fair. Now Thomas is an Assistant Professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. He also coordinated Covid-19 testing task force at the White House. Rishi is the principal scientist at the AI-powered gene therapy company Dyno Therapeutics. Isn’t that amazing!”
