“Yesterday, I attended the farewell party for Karen Lu, M.D., as she departs soon for her new role as physician in chief and executive vice president at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has been chair of Gynecological Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center for the last 12 years and I was lucky to work with her for five years before I joined the internal communications team recently.

I know Dr. Lu will be great in her new role and I wish her well on this next adventure! Thanks to Josette Glaze for putting together a lovely and fun celebration.”
