Anna Avagyan, a pediatric hematologist/oncologist from the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, shared on Twitter,
“This is a truly inspiring story of a child traveling from Guyana to Armenia in pursuit of proper healthcare. Although both countries have limited resources and own challenges, yet unity is the key to the global pediatric healthcare.
Recently, this sweet boy has been admitted to our hospital with suspected leukemia. Limited resources in his home country prevented a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. After contacting several hospitals and foundations, they found a way to get diagnosis and treatment in Armenia.”
