“This afternoon, I was so truly honored to recognize and remember Dr. William Blackstock at the inaugural A. William Blackstock Jr. Legacy Symposium at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, moderated by Nadine Barrett.
After many inspiring comments including from Dr. Blackstock’s family, keynote speaker Karen Winkfield, Julie Freischlag, Ruben Mesa, David Zaas, Kinneil Coltman, Michael Chan, Brenda Latham-Sadler, Dr. Jimmy Ruiz, Dr. Adebola Adedimeji, and others, I left inspired to pursue our ‘mission critical’ work to advance health and health equity for all. What a wonderfully meaningful celebration!”
