Protecting children from tobacco industry interference – UICC
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared on LinkedIn: .
“The tobacco industry targets youth. More than 38 million 13 to 15 year-olds are using some form of tobacco.
They could become lifelong consumers, at risk of developing – and dying – from cancer and other tobacco-related diseases.
The upcoming World No Tobacco Day 2024 focuses on ‘Protecting children from tobacco industry interference.’
