“We recently attended the WECAN – Workgroup of European Cancer Patient Advocacy Networks Retreat in Barcelona. The event brought together members from various organisations to discuss and plan future advocacy efforts.
Alfonso Aguarón, Policy Officer at LuCE and member of the WECAN Coordination Team, participated, adding his expertise to the group’s discussions.
A key outcome was the decision to establish the WECAN Foundation, a significant development in structured advocacy efforts.
The retreat fostered a spirit of unity and shared purpose, highlighting LuCE’s commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts within the WECAN community.
