An AI tool to predict cancer response to drugs – NCI Center for Cancer Research
NCI Center for Cancer Research shared a post on LinkedIn:
“IN THE NEWS: In case you missed it, CCR researchers have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) tool in a proof-of-concept study that uses data from individual cells inside tumors to predict whether a person’s cancer will respond to a specific drug.
The team that developed this tool is led by Eytan Ruppin, the chief of the Cancer Data Science Laboratory. Dr. Ruppin focuses on multi-disciplinary algorithmic computationally driven analysis of large-scale biomedical omics and clinical data, with an emphasis on AI and machine/deep learning approaches.
Their work has been featured recently in Future Pulse, a newsletter created by POLITICO, as well as an article by Inside Precision Medicine. ”
