Ryan Denu: MD Anderson Cancer Center experience with ‘triple-negative’ GIST lacking some alterations
Ryan Denu, Oncology Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared on X/Twitter:
“Hot off the press, our MD Anderson Cancer Center experience with ‘triple-negative’ gist that lack KIT/PDGFRA/SDH alterations. Thanks to Neeta Somaiah, Alexander Lazar, Anthony P Conley, Ravin Ratan, Dejka Araujo, Vinod Ravi, Elise Nassif Haddad, Michael Nakazawa.
Heterogeneous group though generally poor response to imatinib, more indolent biology, and favorable outcomes. Driver mutations in RAS/RAF/MAPK, DNA damage response, and FGFR pathways.
Summary of gist drivers.”
