Wafik S. El-Deiry, Associate Dean for Oncologic Sciences at the Warren Alpert Medical School and Director of the Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University, shared on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to Dr. Shelli Farhadian on receiving the Sir William Osler Award at the 226th meeting of the Interurban Clinical Club held today at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven.

Dr Farhadian was also acknowledged for her humanitarian work.

Her presentation was about HIV and the CNS and learning from single cells in the CSF.

Elegant studies presented by Shelli Farhadian on single cells in CSF on individuals receiving ART therapy for HIV.

Dr. Shelli Farhadian looked at cytokines and detected nucleocapsid protein from SARS-CoV-2 in the CSF of COVID infected individuals and long-COVID.
