Mark Lewis: There are times when the best you can do is listen

In a tweet by Mark Lewis, Hematologist/Oncologist at Intermountain Healthcare, it says:

“There are times when the best you can do is be present for your patients, silence your own overbearing voice, and listen.
I literally carry an instrument to amplify their hearts’ sounds, to record their rate and rhythm.
But how often do I pause to hear their content?
Not enough.”
