Shikha Jain: Governor Pritzker’s exemplary leadership throughout the pandemic and his unwavering commitment to healthcare reform have been instrumental in propelling forward progressive policies in Illinois

“It was an immense honor to meet with Governor Pritzker in Springfield, IL today. We delved into the impactful Healthcare Protection Act, with a focus on the critical aspects of prior authorization reform and prohibiting step therapy—key initiatives for improving patient care and reducing healthcare providers’ administrative burdens.
Governor Pritzker’s exemplary leadership throughout the pandemic and his unwavering commitment to healthcare reform have been instrumental in propelling forward progressive policies in Illinois. These initiatives ensure timely and necessary treatments for patients without the hindrance of undue procedural delays, thereby enhancing healthcare delivery efficiency and effectiveness throughout the state.
I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in such significant discussions and am eager to continue advocating for policies that prioritize the health and well-being of all Illinois residents.
Additionally, no visit to Springfield is complete without a stop at Wally’s.”
