Jay Mandula: Our recent publication from the lab of Dr. Rodriguez’s at Moffitt Cancer Center in Immunity

Jay Mandula, Post Doctoral Scholar at the Ohio State University, shared on LinkedIn:

“I am thrilled, humbled and honored to announce our recent publication (Jagged2 targeting in lung cancer activates anti-tumor immunity via Notch-induced functional reprogramming of tumor-associated macrophages) from the lab of Dr. Rodriguez‘s at Moffitt Cancer Center in Immunity!”

In the manuscript we describe how Notch ligand Jagged2 orchestrates immunosuppressive programming of tumor associated macrophages and how targeting Jagged2 may be a new avenue for immunotherapy in lung cancer.

This has been a phenomenal team effort, learning experience, and example of when team science really shine! I would especially like to thank Dr. Paulo Rodriguez, Rosa Sierra-Mondragon, Dr. Rachel Jimenez, Dr. Darwin Chang alongside the entire collaborative team!

Here is the link for those interested; feel free to reach out to discuss/learn more!!”
