It is with great sadness that I learn that Véronique Trillet-Lenoir passed away yesterday.
Her contributions to the field of oncology and her advocacy for cancer patients and survivors are truly remarkable and have left a lasting impact in Europe. As a fellow oncologist , I deeply appreciated her dedication and efforts in supporting those affected by cancer.
Dr. Trillet-Lenoir’s work as an oncologist, MEP, and active member of various European initiatives has undoubtedly been instrumental in advancing the cause of cancer patients and survivors. Her commitment to improving the lives of those affected by cancer will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have worked with her or benefited from her tireless advocacy.
In her memory, let us continue the important work she accomplished, striving for a world where cancer patients and survivors have access to the support and resources they need to live fulfilling lives. My condolences go out to her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched. May her legacy inspire us to persevere in the fight against cancer and continue championing the rights and well-being of cancer patients and survivors everywhere.
