Richard Scolyer: Side effects of immunotherapy settling well
Richard Scolyer, Co-Medical Director at Melanoma Institute Australia, recently shared on X:
“Quick update. Side effects of immunotherapy settling well. My bilateral pneumonia didn’t give me many symptoms and I managed to ride 3 days of Tour De Cure without any dramas (and had a great time).
CT chest yesterday remarkably showed it has returned to normal/no residual pneumonia over the past couple of weeks. Sinonasal symptoms also settling well. My blood tests showed excellent improvement since last week (LFTs dropped significantly and CK normal). Gotta be happy with that!
Thanks to the amazing multidisciplinary medical team, especially Georgina Long at Melanoma Institute Australia, who are looking after me so well.”
