“Good meeting with Dan Carden, UK Member for Liverpool Walton, and President of the IPU Parliament Forum of Young MPs, on the vital role Parliamentarians play to promote health for the citizens they represent.

We agreed on the priority of investing in health promotion, universal health coverage and pandemic preparedness. We also discussed the importance of the government-led negotiations for a pandemic agreement to ensure countries are better ready to respond to future disease threats.”
