I look forward to relocating back to the east coast to begin a new adventure in drug discovery and development – Mark McCarron

A professor and a venture capitalist walk into a bar…and the rest is history.
I’ve been honored to work at Genentech for the last 6 of its 47 years of existence. It has been a great thrill helping to grow our understanding and development of individualized, therapeutic cancer vaccines targeting tumor-specific neoantigens, a nascent field that has been flourishing in recent years.
While Genentech may be the oldest biotech in the world, I know that my ex colleagues will continue to innovate and raise the bar for cancer immunotherapies, to the benefit of the cancer patients we serve.

I look forward to relocating back to the east coast to begin a new adventure in drug discovery and development.
