“Several young people have suffered or lost lives due to cancer in India. Recently another celebrity, Former Miss India Tripura Rinky Chakma lost her life to this at a very young age.
First things first, an awareness is needed on cancer in India. Some people are already working on it, a huge positive!
Secondly, significant funding from private and public institutions should go to several biotech startups developing novel medicines and preventive diagnostics specifically designed for Indian population.
This is a real widespread problem, nobody should think you are free now and it wont happen to you. Cancer can surprise anyone! I myself have personal experiences dealing with it in my family.”
