Update on the WHO/Europe Access to Novel Medicines Platform.
We’ve been busy behind the scenes at WHO Regional Office for Europe.
We have had a great response to our call for nominations from the registered platform members and the working groups are being convened.
We are delighted to announce the following:
Working Group 1 (Transparency) will be chaired by Francis Arickx, Advisor/Head of the Directorate Pharmaceutical Policy RIZIV-INAMI BEL will be chairing Working Group 1 (Transparency).
Working Group 2 (Solidarity- evidence generation and pooled procurement ) will be chaired by Jakub Dvořáček Deputy Minister of Health Czechia.
Working Group 3 (Sustainability- principles for HTA/pricing and procurement and good governance) will be chaired by Meindert Boysen PharmD MSc, Head of International Affairs, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, UK.
A big thanks to the chairs for the collaboration to come.
