Svetlana Nikic: On February 15th OncoDaily is hosting a global 24-h telethon, an event dedicated to pediatric cancer research

Svetlana Nikic, Founder of

“On February 15th OncoDaily is hosting a global 24-h telethon, an event dedicated to pediatric cancer research.

The funds collected during this event will support an international clinical trial for testing Volasertib, Oncoheroes Biosciences’ lead compound, across five pediatric cancer indications.

Volasertib will be evaluated in combination with vinorelbine in approximately 20 sites globally, targeting +100 patients who have exhausted available treatments.

Given the limited resources and efforts dedicated to drug development specifically for pediatric cancer patients, who still face significant unmet needs, it is truly inspiring to witness initiatives where each individual can contribute, even in small ways.”

Quoting

“In honor of International Childhood Cancer Day, OncoDaily, a specialized oncology media outlet, will host a global telethon on February 15th. This event, dedicated to pediatric cancer research, marks an unprecedented 24-hour worldwide effort to raise essential funds.

The telethon aims to support an international clinical trial for testing Volasertib, Oncoheroes Biosciences’ lead compound, across five pediatric cancer indications.

Donations collected during the event will be directed worldwide through the Ally Anderson Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma Research Fund, supported by the ARMS WIDE OPEN CHILDHOOD CANCER FOUNDATION, accessible at AllyARMSFund.org. Learn more.

Join us and help spread the word. Your contribution can truly make a difference!”
