Benedikt Westphalen: I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to chair the ESMO Translational Research and Precision Medicine Working
Benedikt Westphalen, Chair of Translational Research and Precision Medicine Working Group at ESMO, recently posted on LinkedIn:
“I feel extremely honored and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to chair the ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Translational Research and Precision Medicine Working in the coming two years.
I will do my very best to build upon the great achievements of the outgoing chair Joaquin Mateo (who will luckily stay on board) and look forward to exciting new projects and fruitful collaboration.
At this time, I would also like to thank my friends and mentors at ESMO for all the support over the last years after my “accidental” participation in the 2018 ESMO Leaders Generation Programme:
Evandro de Azambuja, Vanessa Marchesi, Katharine Fumasoli, Fabrice Andre, Svetlana Jezdic, Tanya Kenny, George Pentheroudakis and so many more…
Finally, my heartfelt congratulations to the other appointees.
Ahmad Awada, Veronika Ballova, Helena Linardou, Sjoukje Oosting, Amanda Psyrri, and Elizabeth Smyth.”
