Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Everyone has been touched by cancer, and new estimates show that about 1 in 5 people globally will develop cancer.
On World Cancer Day, World Health Organization calls on all countries to invest in access to cancer services – prevention, screening and treatment. It is essential to ensure all patients in need receive timely care, if we are to achieve Health For All.”
