“It was an honor to host the U.S.-Australia Cancer Consortium inaugural meeting at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a real pleasure hosting in-person Professors Bruce Robinson and Nick Pavlakis visiting from Sydney, and Dr. Catharine Young, Ph.D. visiting from the White House Cancer Moonshot in DC. Special thanks to the Aussie friends who joined online from down under on Australia Day!
Together with multi-stakeholder leaders at Bloomberg New Economy International Cancer Coalition, the Asia Society and McKinsey and Company, we will advance this public-private international partnership to expand access to and accelerate international clinical trials. Our working groups will advance international data sharing, education and training, with specific innovative projects including liquid biopsy guided clinical trials, molecular tumor board (MTB), and international remote radiotherapy.
This is a pivotal year for the world, and we all have a role to play to promote international collaboration in the fight against cancer.”
