In this essay, Chris Booth and I discuss how 25 years of ‘innovation’ in the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer has barely budged the survival rates for this still lethal disease. Just moving the goalposts doesn’t mean patient outcomes have improved. Patients deserve better.
