An astute leader with vision, understanding the principles of collaboration and collective action and a highly ethical work culture. An asset for Breast Health Foundation and Cancer Alliance (South Africa) and PWLE in South Africa. Leading the way with the Breast Assessment Tool as part of the APPIS Innovator Program 2024 winners.”

Louise Turner is the Chief Operations Officer at Breast Health Foundation (BHF), an NGO established to provide emotional and informative support to those affected by breast cancer, and has helped countless men and women for the past sixteen years. In 2004, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Four years into her new role at BHF, in 2011, Louise was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
