Dégi László Csaba: Thrilled to Contribute to EU4Health Programme Initiatives
Dégi László Csaba, Full Professor at UBB, ECO President, IPOS Secretary, Ombudsman, APSCO President, and FSAS Ph.D. Director, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored and excited to share that I’ve been invited to join the new Common Mental Health and Cancer Care Stakeholder Advisory Board for three groundbreaking European* projects:
ALTHEA – Digital mental health screening platform for cancer patients and families
DESIPOC – European psychosocial oncology care knowledge hub
MELODIC – Mental health support for young adults (18-35) with cancer
These EU4Health Programme initiatives are tackling critical gaps in cancer care by:
- Improving mental health screening and early detection
- Providing personalized psychological support
- Training healthcare professionals
- Developing policy recommendations across EU countries
As someone passionate about bridging cancer community needs with digital health innovation, I’m thrilled to contribute my expertise to these life-changing projects that will impact patients, families, and caregivers across Europe.
The future of cancer care is people centered and comprehensive – addressing not just the physical, but the mental and emotional journey too.
*Funded by the European Union under the EU4Health Programme 2021–2027.”
