Let’s talk about a powerful shield against cervical cancer – HPV VACCINES! – Medicaid Cancer Foundation

“Let’s talk about a powerful shield against cervical cancer – HPV VACCINES! Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can lead to cervical cancer, but these vaccines are game-changers in prevention. Here’s the breakdown:

How do they work?
HPV vaccines, like Cervarix, Gardasil 4, and Gardasil 9, work by training your immune system to recognize and fight specific strains of the virus. They contain harmless pieces of the virus, not the live virus itself, ensuring you’re ready to tackle the real deal if exposed.

Cervarix:
This vaccine targets two high-risk HPV strains (16 and 18) responsible for many cervical cancers. It’s a potent defender focusing on these specific culprits.

Gardasil 4:
It protects against four HPV strains, including 6 and 11, which cause genital warts.

Gardasil 9:
Gardasil 9 expands protection against nine HPV strains, covering even more ground and reducing the risk of cervical cancer significantly.

WHO Mission 2030:
The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a bold mission to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem by 2030. Central to this vision is widespread HPV vaccination, ensuring more people worldwide are protected against the virus’s most harmful strains.

At our facility, we’re committed to making a difference. We are offering discounted HPV vaccines until January 31st:
– Cervarix: ₦15,000
– Gardasil 4: ₦60,000
– Gardasil 9: ₦297,500
Your health matters, and prevention is key!

Take Action:
Getting vaccinated is not just a personal choice; it’s a contribution to global health. Let’s work together to achieve WHO’s mission, making cervical cancer a thing of the past!”
