Vincent Rajkumar: A leader is different than a leadership title

Vincent Rajkumar, Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, shared a post on X/Twitter:

“Aspire to be leaders.
A leader is different than a leadership title. Different skill sets.

There are some with powerful leadership titles who are great leaders as well. Some with leadership titles who lack the skills and vision of a leader. And some leaders who quietly lead but simply don’t play the strategic game needed to acquire a leadership title.”
