Karen Knudsen: Ned brings unparalleled expertise to ACS

Karen Knudsen shared a post by the American Cancer Society on LinkedIn:

“This year, four brilliant minds will join the American Cancer Society Board, including past National Cancer Institute (NCI) Director, acting FDA Commissioner, and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center Director Dr. Norman Sharpless. Ned brings unparalleled expertise to ACS as we work through advocacy, discovery, and patient support to end cancer as we know it!”

Quoting the American Cancer Society’s post:

“We are pleased to welcome Norman Sharpless, a distinguished figure in cancer research and policy. As the professor at UNC School of Medicine, former NCI director, and FDA commissioner, his commitment to advancing oncology is truly inspiring. Welcome, Dr. Sharpless!”
