Bob Li: Changing the world requires vision and collaboration, and what a way to start the new year
Bob Li,
“Changing the world requires vision and collaboration, and what a way to start the new year! Thanks to the extraordinary gift from Mr. Gregory John Poche, AO, and Mrs. Kay Van Norton Poche, AO, we are building an international R&D hub in Sydney to expand access to cancer clinical trials, including in remote and diverse global communities via hub-and-spoke technologies.
Furthermore, we will help establish the U.S.-Australia Cancer Consortium with international public-private partnerships. This is part of a multi-stakeholder international movement, involving Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Royal North Shore Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Ramsay Health Care, Bloomberg New Economy, Asia Society and many others to accelerate the Cure for Cancer in this lifetime.
New ideas are welcomed, with much more to come. For now, let’s all do our part, spread the word and tell the story. Happy new year!”
