“The Improving Cancer Outcomes and Leadership Course (8–11 May, Zagreb, Croatia) brought together passionate professionals from 23 countries — and I’m profoundly honored to have been part of this initiative.
A heartfelt thank you to the European School of Oncology, Alberto Costa, my Co-Chairs Peter Selby, Alexandru Eniu, Razvan Andrei Popescu — as well as Corinne Hall and Dolores Knupfer — for their incredible work organising this powerful course.
We had an extraordinary group of participants with inspiring projects, and a stellar faculty including Mark Lawler, Tit Albreht, Assia Konsoulova, Richard Sullivan, Ajay Aggarwal, Kathy Oliver, Matt Hickey, Eduardo Pisani, Steven Pavletic, David Nelson, Alessandro Pace, and many more who stayed for the full journey.
Thank you all for the engagement — in the room and on social media. Let’s keep working together to improve cancer outcomes for all patients across Europe and beyond. I’m proud to be part of something truly meaningful!
