“The former IRS Commissioner used a charitable lead annuity trust (CLAT) to create endowed athletic scholarships, fund a 4,500-seat soccer and lacrosse stadium, and pass on tax-free inheritance to his family.
When people ask me why I’m interested in planned giving, it’s simple—if you are a nonprofit professional and are serious about the financial future of your charitable organization and you’re not actively seeking asset-based contributions, you are committing fundraising malpractice.
The time to build and grow a gift planning program is NOW!”
