“Yesterday, the Digestive Cancers Europe team participated in an impactful workshop on placing patients at the centre of healthcare decision-making. Our co-founder Stefan Gijssels from the Patient Expert Center led the session.

Through thoughtful discussion and shared experiences, the workshop reinforced why patients’ voices must guide the way we shape healthcare policies and systems. It also provided practical insight into how we, as patient organisation, can strengthen our collaboration to ensure care is more inclusive, responsive and effective.
