Paolo Tarantino: Ikigai
Paolo Tarantino, Medical Oncologist and Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, shared a post on X/Twitter:
“Ikigai is a Japanese concept representing “a sense of purpose in life”. It has been suggested as one of the reasons for the longevity of Japanese people, and observational studies found reduced risk of mortality from all causes among individuals feeling more ikigai.”
