Adrian Pogacian: Beyond the Cancer Diagnosis marks its first anniversary

Adrian PogacianFounder of INCKA Psycho-oncology Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“In this important day, Beyond the Cancer Diagnosis marks its first anniversary!!! Therefore, I would like to thank Elen Baloyan, my Managing Editor, Janna Sisakyan for logistic support, the editing team and all my guests that made this series a real achievement! Here are some thoughts of former series guests:

Judith Fitzgerald: It has indeed been a great pleasure to work with Adrian. We share a passion of providing a message of hope and coping strategies for cancer patients. I recently recorded a podcast with Adrian discussing the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis, and the need for emotional and psychological support. I applaud his dedication to patient welfare and providing the support cancer survivors so desperately need.

Sami (Papacek) Mansfield: I’m honored to be part of the powerful conversations shared through the Beyond the Cancer Diagnosis Interview Series and to celebrate this meaningful one-year milestone with its thoughtful creator.

Adrian Pogacian: From the beginning, this series set out to elevate the whole-person experience in cancer care—and it continues to deliver. Each story is a reminder that what truly matters is not just treatment, but compassion, connection, and care that reaches beyond the diagnosis.

On this Psychosocial Oncology Day, we’re reminded that the mind leads the body. Supporting mental and emotional well-being isn’t a luxury—it’s essential to healing.

“The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love.” – Hubert H. Humphrey.

Adrian, thank you for creating a space where stories are honored, voices are uplifted, and healing is approached through a truly holistic lens. Here’s to another year of impact, insight, and inspiration.

Darren Haywood: Discussing my research with Adrian on OncoDaily was an excellent experience. Adrian asks outstanding questions that help bring nuance to the conversation while ensuring that it is accessible to a wide listernership. It is a great experience and allowed me to distribute my research widely.

Carolyn Taylor: As Beyond the Cancer Diagnosis Interview Series celebrates its one-year anniversary, I’m continually inspired by the work my friend and colleague, Adrian Pogacian, has done to bring critical conversations in psycho-oncology to the forefront.

Hosted on OncoDaily, the series is both insightful and grounding, bringing psycho-oncology to life in a way that is accessible, compassionate, and genuinely impactful. It’s a powerful contribution to the field and a testament to Adrian’s commitment to reshaping how we understand and support people beyond the diagnosis.

Sandy Duarte: As Beyond the Cancer Diagnosis marks its one-year milestone, I remain inspired by Adrian’s dedication to reshaping how we approach and support those navigating cancer. His ability to bring compassion and clarity to these important discussions is invaluable. Thank you, Adrian, for your incredible work and the difference you’re making in so many lives. You’re a true gift to this field.

See you all soon!”
