Aaron Hansen: Incredible work being done by the Marathon of Hope
Aaron Hansen, Acting Medical Director Cancer Services at Princess Alexandra Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Truly incredible work being done by the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network!
The Network’s landmark paper published in the prestigious Cancer Cell journal is a true inspiration and beacon of hope for cancer patients around the world.
This paper showcases the power of pan-Canadian collaboration, bringing together over 1,200 researchers, clinicians, patients, and partners to transform precision oncology. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when we unite our efforts to improve outcomes and quality of life for those affected by cancer.
It was a privilege to make a small contribution to this amazing endeavour. The Network’s commitment to equity, diversity, and the central role of patients is truly admirable. I’m excited to see how this groundbreaking work continues to advance cancer research and care in Canada and beyond.
Congratulations to the entire Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network team on this incredible milestone!”
