“Back from the ITCC Scientific Days 2025 in Newcastle – an inspiring gathering of European researchers and clinicians dedicated to advancing early drug development in pediatric oncology.
Our Department of Pediatrics at Goethe University Frankfurt was represented by Anna-Lena Schmell, who presented our strategy to design preemptive therapies to prevent cancer – a key step towards more proactive, biology-driven treatment concepts in childhood cancer.
A special highlight: the excellent keynote by Marschalek Rolf on KMT2A rearrangements – a comprehensive and thought-provoking overview of this crucial leukemia subtype.
