Michael Sapienza: Federal funding for cancer and other disease research has been cut by more than $1 billion
Michael Sapienza, Chief Executive Officer of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, posted on LinkedIn:
“Federal funding for cancer and other disease research has been cut by more than $1 billion. These significant cuts will have a devastating impact on the development of new colorectal cancer treatments and progress.
As the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to ending this disease, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance Cancer Alliance is committed to funding critically needed, innovative research through Project Cure CRC, but we need support now more than ever.
The philanthropic community must step up to fill the gap in funding. Please consider supporting our efforts to advance colorectal cancer research, treatments, and care.
Tomorrow can’t wait, to learn about Project Cure CRC and donate to our life-saving work.
