“Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet it remains the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Stigma, lack of awareness, and limited access to screening mean too many cases are diagnosed too late.
In a new interview, Nicole Sheahan, President of the Global Colon Cancer Association, a UICC member, explore the urgent need to improve health awareness and access to screening and care – especially as cases continue to rise among young adults.
