Viviana Cortiana: Delighted to have presented our work at SOHO Italy 2025
Viviana Cortiana, Researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, posted on LinkedIn:
“We are delighted to have recently presented our work at SOHO Italy 2025 in Rome!
Our study highlights the impact of a global digital platform in combating cancer-related misinformation and advancing global hematology-oncology education through expert-driven digital programming. With misinformation affecting 32.5% of online cancer content, initiatives like MedNews Week are crucial in providing free, reliable, and accessible education to a diverse, global audience.
A heartfelt thank you to the SOHO Italy Society of Hematologic Oncology Conference Committee and IRCCS, University of Bologna, MD Anderson Cancer Center for their commitment to bringing this important event to Italy and promoting international collaboration, which is essential to accelerating cancer research and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
We are particularly grateful to Claudio Cerchione, Hagop Kantarjian and Giovanni Martinelli for the opportunity to share our work in such an inspiring and international setting.
We also wish to express our gratitude to our partners, including The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), The Innovation:A Cell Press partner journal, MDPI, Cancers MDPI, OncLive, Women in Lymphoma, OncoDaily, Sage, whose collaboration and support allows us to continue our mission with high motivation.
We are looking forward to continuing to participate in this event next year!”
